THE SUNGLASSES

🚫 don’t always wear sunglasses in all photoshoots otherwise you look like you’re hiding something

THE SCARF

✅ make sure your scarf compliments your outfit
✅ use your scarf when posing
✅ ALWAYS wear a jacket over your scarf so the scarf doesn’t pull too much focus
🚫if you don’t have to, don’t wear a scarf in a photoshoot because it does more harm than good
🚫 no wild colors or patterns
🚫 scarves that don’t compliment your outfit look bad
🚫 at the end of the day, it’s more difficult to get a scarf to work well in a photo shoot - so just leave it out
TAKE ACTION NOW
Go into your closet and pick out a few outfits. Try them on. See how they fit and see how you can style them from Sebastian’s tips. If you need to do a load of laundry to get all of your articles of clothing put together then do that today. Prep your shoes. Prep your accessories. Prep all of your outfits because….. tomorrow you are going to do a personal branding photo shoot!
Then lay out 1 piece of clothing on a flat surface and take a picture of it from above. Then repeat with the rest of your outfits. This is called a flat lay because you lay it flat. Taking pictures of your clothing in a flat lay style is excellent for creating backgrounds for graphics in Canva.
I go all into that during the free bonus of My Content Calendar called Canva Course but just know this…. if you take a few pics of each article of clothing from above and save it to your photos you will be able to create branded content in Canva with your look and feel and color and texture that will ALSO appear in your branded photos that you’ll take tomorrow.
So get to it. Prep your outfits for tomorrow. Then layout out 1 piece of clothing on a flat surface and take a few pics of it form above. Then repeat with the rest of your outfits. Hey why not go the extra mile and photograph your accessories as well.
Then when you are done, go into our community group and create one post and in that one post upload your favourite flatly images of your outfits.
