Originally from Boston, Massachusetts…
I graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Musical Theatre on a Friday in May 1999.
I moved to NYC the very next day (Saturday) and expected to be on Broadway by Monday.
When that didn’t happen, I auditioned for gigs like my life depended on it - because it did - and I booked a 1 year contract in Germany.
In the fall of 1999 I moved to Germany to work as a musical theatre performer in productions like 42nd Street, A Chorus Line, Cats, Dance Of The Vampires, and Mamma Mia!.
That 1 year contract turned into an 8 year long career on stage, performing 8 shows a week to thousands of people every night.
In 2007 I hung up my dancing shoes and found my voice (literally) in voiceover working with clients from A to Z like Adidas to Zeiss from my professional home studio in Germany.
And yes, I still do VO but now from my studio in Spain.
When the internet was emerging in 2011, I took a ton of online courses and built my own website and social media presence for my voice over business.
Creative friends asked me to build theirs, then their creative friends asked me to build theirs… and in 2011 my personal branding, web design, and social media business catering to creative professionals was born.
And in 2016 I gave up my American citizenship to become German. Bye bye USA, hello EU!
In 2022 when the landscape for where you can work drastically changed - especially if you work online - I redesigned my life, took my German passport, and moved to a little town on the coast of Spain with fast internet and a fabulous work / life balance.
Now I work with creatives from all over the globe, helping them shine online and share their talent with the world with my 3 part process - Align, Curate, and Elevate - inside my Personal Branding Studio.
