1: Organise Your Visuals Into Folders

Step 1: Create the main folder

On your computer, create a new folder on your desktop titled “Personal Branding Photos - (name of photographer - (date)”

Step 2: Create subfolders by look and location

Create subfolders that are titled with each look (color and garment you’re wearing on top) and location (where the photo was taken)

Step 3: Set up additional subfolders

Create 3 additional subfolders inside each look and location subfolder. Title the 3 subfolders orignials, portrait, and vertical.

Step 4: Organise originals

Drag and drop the images with the look and location from your photographer’s folder into the corresponding look and location folder and keep dragging them into the additional subfolder titled “originals” and drop them in there.

Step 5: Title the originals

Retitle all images in all originals subfolders, starting with the humber 1, followed by a space, and then the look and location and crop. For example, 1 beige linen shirt office original

Step 6: Create the same folders in Canva

In Canva, click on Projects in the left toolbar > then at the top right click on Add New > choose Folders > then click on create a folder

In the pop up write out the look and location and crop. For example beige linen shirt office originals. Then click on continue

Click on the open button at the top of your screen as soon as possible. If it disappears then go to the left toolbar > click on Projects > click on Folders > and you’ll see your newly titled folder in this case beige linen shirt office originals

Click on the folder and a new pop up on the left will appear > from here click on Upload - DO NOT drag and drop the images into the left pop up otherwise they will go to the general uploads folder. Rather, click on upload files > and in the pop up find your main folder for your photo library > navigate to the look and location subfolder >highlight all images and upload them to the look and location originals folder in Canva

Repeat the process for all other look and location originals folders in your photo library and upload them to Canva
