Day 5

Download all of the JT quotes about productivity and use them as inspiration by posting them on social, making them your screen saver, or printing them out and hanging them on the wall.

  1. Set in stone your magic moments of good boundaries and NNT for an optimised workday by asking yourself…. What time do you start your workday? What time do you take a lunch break? What time do you come back to work after your lunch break? What time do you finish your work day? When you have those times clear in your mind, draw a line horizontally in the worksheets for the start of your work day, the beginning and end of your lunch break, and when you end your work day. Also as a huge tip, do not eat your lunch at your desk. Go somewhere else and eat it. That’s another productivity hack.

  2. Go back to the My Optimised Workday Routine worksheets. At the beginning of your workday schedule the first half hour of your workday to do 1 challenging thing and at the end of your workday schedule the last half hour to tidy up your desk. Then come on back.

  3. Look at your Optimised Workday Routine worksheets and write in 3 times during your workday that you can check email for no longer than 30 minutes for each interval. And why not make the very first thing you do in the morning be 1 challenging thing AND check your email for 30 minutes. Hey 2 birds, 1 stone!

  4. Go to your Optimised Workday Routine and schedule 1 hour to do all your financials for the week. I recommend Financial Fridays at 4.

  5. Your development is CRUCIAL for success and feeling more freedom. Put into your Optimised Workday Routine at least 1 hour per week and at most 1 hour per day for development. If you need to print out more Optimal Workday Routine schedules then do that now. Remember, make it work for you.

  6. Decide for yourself to schedule at least 1 hour per week and at most 1 hour per day (or batch those 5 hours into one day) and add marketing into your Optimised Workday Routine. Marketing means having a structure and strategy that you work on step by step that is proven to bring you work. By making space for it, even if it's something you don’t know how to do perfectly yet, you are giving it a place to breathe and come to life.

  7. Go to the Find Your Freedom worksheets. Let that be your guiding light. Read through your answers again and cultivate that feeling of freedom inside of you NOW. Then flip to your Workday Habits pages. Read each thing that you do AND ONLY CIRCLE the habits that make you feel a sense of freedom or that are aligned to your feeling of freedom in the future AND that can bring in money. Circle all of them. For the things that don’t make you feel a sense of freedom or aren’t aligned to your feeling of freedom in the future AND THAT WON’T BRING IN MONEY, then simply ignore them. Don’t circle them. Don’t give them the time of day. Don’t give them any energy. Ignore them completely.

  8. Take a look at what you wrote in your Workday Habits worksheets and take the time now to prep for it for tomorrow’s workday.
