I have a photography studio that can become a makeshift room or space if needing props or other minimal envrionmental elements. I can also go on location to the person I'm photographing if they have an office, studio space, etc. Which really tells more of their story and brand.
Photography style / aesthetic:
I believe we are artists of our passions and purpose and I view a Personal Branding session as a way to reconnect to why and the love of what we do. In terms of posing and expression, I like to guide people into natural poses and expressions so they represent how they would naturally position their bodies. Striving for a variety of expressions during the session that really show the depth of the person. A consultation before the shoot, prompts to get the person thinking, music and other things are used to help them reconnect to their inner artist. I love portraits with a little Vanity Fair style. Painted canvas backgrounds or solid colors to help the person stand out. I also love environmental portraits of a person in their space. My lighting is influenced by the light that is available to the space, and I enhance it with additional lighting to add a little more pop while keeping it looking natural.
